BUSHNELL, Fla. — Doris I. (Kinsman) Westenhoefer, of Bushnell, Fla., and formerly of Lynn, passed away in Florida on Feb. 1, 2019 at the age of 99.
Born in Lynn on Oct. 9, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Flora (Goodhue) Kinsman. She was the devoted wife of the late George M. Westenhoefer, who passed in 2008.
Doris worked at the Lynn Girls’ Club and the Gregg Neighborhood House. She spent most of her retirement traveling extensively. Doris loved sports, particularly the Olympics.
Doris leaves her children, George M. Westenhoefer Jr. and his wife, Lucy of Florida and Kathy Brady and her husband, John of Florida; as well as three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Service information: Visiting hours will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019 from 12 noon to 1 p.m., followed by a graveside committal service in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
