    Gilda P. (Preze) Harrison, 88, of Somerset, died December 4, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Benedict J. “John” Harrison, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Jose G. and Gilda C. (Carreiro) Perez, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Somerset in 1996. Mrs. Harrison was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church in Somerset. She was formerly employed as a teacher at New Bedford Vocational High School and Fairhaven High School.
