    Bucksport, ME – Ida I. (MacDonald) Burgess, 94, of Bucksport, Maine formerly of Rockport, Mass. passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Bangor Eastside Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Smithville, Maine on April 15, 1925, daughter of the late Joseph and Adele (Swazey) MacDonald. Ida was a graduate of Bucksport High School. She later moved to Rockport, where she worked as the town clerk for many years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Burgess.
