The youngest of 14 children, she was born June 10, 1919 in Saint-Norbert, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Jude and Cecile Maillet. Her husband of 54 years, Paul E. Charbonneau passed away in 2000. In 1946 they moved from Montreal to Gardner where she worked for 24 year at Gem Crib and another 5 years at Simplex.
