Brentwood – On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Irving (Tutty) Woodman, a hardworking and driven farmer passed away at the age of 90.
Tutty was born in Newburyport, on March 11, 1930 to the late John and Elizabeth (Marcus) Woodman. Throughout his childhood, he faithfully and diligently supported his family's dairy and vegetable farm, and graduated from Newburyport High school in 1948. On July 6, 1973, he married Georgia (Reed) Woodman. Together they worked on the Woodman Farm in Georgetown and raised one daughter, Gena, and three sons, Henry, Mike, and Keith. In 1989, Tutty and Georgia moved to Brentwood, NH where they started a cattle and hay farm known as the Windy Hill Farm.
Tutty had a true passion and natural ability for working with livestock and hay. He also built strong bonds and friendships with many customers and people throughout the community. He was a lover of Westerns, spending time with family and friends, and John Deere. He was also known for being a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
In addition to his wife Georgia (George), he is survived by his children Keith Woodman, Henry Kiman, Mike Kiman and his wife, Donna, Gena Cox and her husband James; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his six siblings, Milton, Leonard, Phyllis, Mildred, Evelyn, and Eleanor.
A funeral service will be held in the spring and announced at a later date. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Newbury.
