David was born in Stoneham, MA on September 12, 1960, to the late Daniel and Dorothy (Spadafora) Gennetti.
David worked as a carpenter and later as a technical instructor for Comcast for many years. He became involved in Wilmington Youth soccer and coached his sons during their youth soccer days. David loved cooking, especially grilling and using his smoker, fishing, gardening and riding his Harley with The Enforcers. He also enjoyed flying his drone and photography. He was Grampa to Gavin and Bella Belcher and Laine Rakes of Barren Springs, VA.
David was the beloved brother William Gennetti and his wife Cathy, Barbara Gennetti, Janice Gennetti and her husband Ray Owens, all of Wilmington; John Gennetti of Tewksbury, and recently deceased Daniel Peter Gennette. He was also the nephew of Salvatore “Butch” Gennetti of Malden. David is also survived by many nieces and nephews who lovingly called him “U.D.” David also leaves behind his beloved dog Scout.
