Jeanette A. Flynn, age 89, formerly of Woburn, Billerica, and most recently, Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Octave and Lillian (LaFlamme) Durocher, October 24, 1929, in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Flynn whom she married in 1953, and they lived together in Woburn where they began their beautiful family.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Jeanette was immensely proud of her role as Nana, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories including those of travel, family dinners, and
many nights of playing bingo. Her kindness and warmth will never be forgotten. Those who had
the pleasure of knowing Jeanette, know how deeply she will be missed.
Jeanette is survived by her five children; Michael Flynn of Las Vegas, Janet Ward and her late husband Michael of Billerica, Maureen Redhead of Las Vegas, John Flynn and his wife Victoria of Las Vegas, Cynthia Pena and her husband Alexy of Billerica. She was the loving nana of Tracy Luvisi and her husband Christopher, Megan Flynn, Michael, Carolyn and Kristen Ward, Richard Lindsey and his wife Adriana, John Lindsey, Jaclyn Hazlett and her husband Derrick, Steven, Alexy and Nicole Pena. She is also survived by 3 loving great grandchildren. Sister of the late Henry Durocher. Sister-in-law of Mildred O’Keefe of Wilmington. Further survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, June 12th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
