Ronald F. Hatch, 77

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — Mr. Ronald Francis Hatch, age 77, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Mr. Hatch was born on Nov. 12, 1941 in Revere. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University and a master’s degree from Troy University.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21½ years and worked as a government contractor for Vitro and Omni. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the AF Commendation Medal with two bronze leaf clusters. During his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, playing poker and watching the Red Sox, Saints and Ocean Springs High School football games.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Caroline Hatch; second wife, Marylin Carzol; parents, Ernest Stanley Hatch and Mary Anne Hatch; and siblings, Diane Perham and Bernice Anderson. He is survived by his spouse, Judy Hatch; children, Vicki Ross (Dana), Brian Hatch (Shannon) and Barry Hatch (Tina); and grandchildren, Jason Ross, Kelsey Sue and Brett Hatch, and Jake and Mary Caroline Hatch.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to Hospice of Light, 1121 Ocean Springs Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.

Service information: Visitation was held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. for friends and family at the Ocean Springs Chapel of BRADFORD-O’KEEFE Funeral Home. Burial will take place for family in Columbia, Miss. at a later date.
