He was born in Lynn, July 1, 1961, son of the late Frederick and Irene (Cunningham) Bowley.
Educated in the Peabody school system, Ed graduated from Peabody Vo-Tech, class of 1980.
A machinist and toolmaker, he owned and operated the former B&D Tooling, Beverly, for over 15 years. More recently he was employed as a machinist at Paradigm Machine, Peabody.
A member of the Peabody Elks, he enjoyed woodworking and motorcycles.
His survivors include his wife of 10 years, Lisa (Paro) Bowley of Haverhill; two daughters, Sarah L. Mallett and her husband Kyle of Amesbury, Heather A. Arnold of Amesbury; step-children, Sarah Davenport and her husband Raymond of Leominster, Moriah Lenig, Seth Lenig, Micah Baillargeon, Mikayla Baillargeon, all of Haverhill; two brothers, Charles W. Bowley of Northwood, N.H., William D. Bowley of Concord, N.H.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Ed was also the brother of the late Elizabeth Mason.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service on Friday evening, March 8, at 5 p.m. in Riverside Church, 278 Groveland St., Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L.
