      Horace Adali (“Tom”) Sawyer, Jr., a summer resident of Duxbury since 1953 and a year round resident since 2007, died peacefully Feb. 8, at the age of 93. Born September 26, 1925, in Abilene, Texas, he was the son of the late Horace Adali Sawyer, Sr. and Mary Jessie Shiels Sawyer from Texas and New Orleans. He grew up in New Orleans, attended the Isidore Newman School, Tulane University, and graduated from the Sloan School of Management at MIT in 1949.       Allen B. Young of Duxbury passed away on Feb. 6, at the age of 91 after courageously facing cancer. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline O. (Osborne) Young; loving father of Laurie A. Gagne and her husband Michael of South Dartmouth, Thomas A. Young and his wife Karen of Halifax, and the late Nancy Young; cherished grandfather of Tyler and Heather Gagne, and Lucas and Kelly Young. Allen is predeceased by siblings Roger, Phil, Warren, Gordon, Marguerite, Marie and Bernice. He also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. Allen was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.     Anthony Joseph Arabia of 74 Washington Ave North Adams, MA passed away on February 13, 2019 at the Williamstown Commons. He was the son of Joseph and Mary (Esposito) Arabia, born on November 30, 1920. He attended local schools before leaving the area to work in Holyoke as a welder at the Worthington Pump and Machinery Corp where he advanced to a First Class rating and further to Instructor.
