LYNN — Theresa Marie (Storti) Salamone, 95, of Plymouth, formerly of Lynn, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Janice Signore, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Albert F. “Al” Salamone, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Storti of Dearborn Heights, Mich., and sisters Angie Calvani of Peabody and Anna McCaul of Lynn.
Theresa was born in Revere, and the daughter of the late James and Carmela (Gregorio) Storti. She was a resident of Lynn for most of her life until moving to Plymouth in 2002. She and her family previously resided in Revere and moved to Lynn in 1969 to be close to her mother.
Theresa was employed by Phillips Lighting in Lynn as a technician for 15 years until her retirement in 1987. She was a former communicant of St. Pius V Church.
She loved her extended family and was always proud of her children. She and her husband traveled to Italy and other interesting locations and liked to go on cruises. She showed her love of family by preparing and serving her signature Italian dinners, and was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by her four children, Janice Signore of Suffolk, Va., Karen McCann of Cohasset, Paul Salamone and his wife Lauren of New York, and Mike Salamone of Naples, Fla. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 from 9-10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
