LYNN — Mrs. Jeannette E. (LeBlanc) Prezioso, 86, of Lynn, died on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Abbot House Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late John Prezioso and previously Raymond Marquis.
Jeannette was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Laurie and Marie (Messier) LeBlanc. She was raised in Salem and Lynn. She was an accomplished typist and seamstress and a longtime active member of St. Jean’s Parish until its closing. She was later a member of Sacred Heart Church in Lynn. She retired in 1989 from Union Hospital and worked there and at Lynn Hospital (Atlanticare) for 38 years in their billing departments.
Jeannette is survived by two daughters and a son, Theresa Smith and her husband, Joseph of Manchester, N.H., Louise Cyr and her husband, Scott of Lynn, and son, Raymond Marquis and his wife, Kathleen of Danvers; her grandchildren, Sharyn and Meredith; her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Hannah, Leah and Cora; and her sisters, Rose Falkowski and her husband, Bill of Spencer, and Doris Castellanos of Augusta, Maine. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Francis Deveau and Theresa Turmenne.
Service information: Jeannette’s funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 9:30 a.m., followed at 10:30 a.m. by a funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Lynn. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
