He is survived by his wife of 59 years Mary Margaret (Cleary) McNary and their children Mary Elizabeth McNary-Hickey, Justin McNary; Julie McNary; Sarah McNary, and Martin McNary. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Aidan McNary-Hickey and Aisling McNary-Hickey, by two sisters, Ellen Foley and Judy Havran, by a brother, Thomas McNary, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
