    Edward M. “Snookie”Kotowski, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Soldiers Home in Holyoke. Born January 24, 1926, son of the late Wincenty and Victoria (Kosakowski) Kotowski, he was a lifelong Chicopee resident. Edward was a US Navy veteran of World War II, and was awarded the American Theater Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post 452 and the Polish American Veterans, Andrew Balut Post.
