Mary L. “Mary the Hairdresser” Peltier, age 79, of Milton passed away February 28th at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Dorchester. Born in Toledo, OH, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School. She worked as a Hairstylist for Fred the Hairstylist in Milton for 45 years before retiring. She was also the First Female Ticket Taker for the Wang, Colonial and Schubert Theatres in Boston and a volunteer for Milton Youth Hockey and St. Agatha’s Bingo for several years.
Beloved mother of Glen E. Davis and his wife Karen of Milton and Richard Light and his wife Linda of Canton, GA. Grandmother of Kathryn and Charles Davis of Milton. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Tuesday morning at 10:30. Burial private. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Agatha Church 432 Adams St. Milton, MA 02186.
