Richard "Red" Chase of Amesbur…

Richard "Red" Chase of Amesbury passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at Anna Jaques Hospital after a long battle of declining health. Born on November 23, 1940, he was the son of Doris (Wilson) Bourque of Amesbury. He was known for his love of singing country music at karaoke night at Salisbury beach. He had a quick wit and charm and loved the ocean. He had many friends. He leaves behind his two sons, Jason Harding, and Richard Harding and wife, Dawn; and grandson, Seamus. Other family members include his brother, Ronald Chase and his wife, Faith and many nieces and nephews. Especially close to Uncle Dick were his niece, Alicia Moore; his nephew, Douglas Tirone; and his best friend, Tony Rizzo. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert, Fred Jr., and Frank "Butch" Chase; his sister, Janette Tirone; and his former late wife, Constance (Lavoie) Chase. He will be missed so much by all who knew and loved him. Private services at a later date are under the direction of the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home in Amesbury.
